Despite the speed at which technology is changing, PDAs could still prove invaluable for brokers.

In these days of rapid change, some technologies have been
superseded.


One that appears to have weathered the storm, however, is the personal
digital assistant (PDA).


A PDA is a small hand-held device that provides computing and information
storage/retrieval capabilities. Often used to record basic information,
addresses and diaries, they could also be used to collect new data and
transfer it elect-ronically. Many also support Windows and word processing
and spreadsheet applications.
