Towergate Underwriting is looking to expand its operations intoEurope, and is also setting up an outsourcing operation for general
insurers.
Having been approached by an insurer with French interests, Towergate is
considering setting up an international division. Peter Cullum, group
managing director, said: "Towergate could expand quite rapidly in
France.
However, we will not be doing this until next year." Paul Dyer, group
marketing director, said: "We are interested in France because it is so
