Mark Boon talks to Diane Smyth about his fresh approach towards insurance broking and explains how he feels the image of the industry could be brightened up.

Cambridge-based insurance broker La Playa makes broking look easy;
more than that, it makes it look fun. The company celebrated its second
birthday in June with a party and holds two parties a year as a matter of
course - one in Cambridge and one in London. It takes time out to go to
exhibitions and, managing director Mark Boon admits, has marketing
literature that looks more like a design agency's than a broker's.
