Torch Underwriters Philip Cunningham Snr and Jnr have left thesyndicate following its takeover by Limit. Both are on gardening leave and
have denied rumours that they are in the process of setting up a new motor
operation. Following the acquisition, Torch's syndicate 877 will merge
with Limit's motor syndicate 980, Ensign. John Neal will be underwriter
for the merged syndicate.
