The Department for Transport has announced an independent review to crackdown on uninsured driving.
The review will look at ways to reduce the high levels of uninsured driving in the UK and improve the effectiveness of compulsory third party motor insurance. It will be headed by economist Professor David Greenaway.
The review will make recommendations based on the market provision of third party liability motor insurance. It will consider the costs and benefits of the current system including
