John Sims, the former head of personal lines at Chubb, has joined City-based managing general agent Lorega as its chief executive.
Although Lorega is smaller than Chubb, Sims said the company had vast potential and could replicate Chubb's client service.
Lorega works with 70 independent chartered loss adjusters that are reputed to arrive onsite within 24 hours of a claim occurring and works with 300 brokers to provide cover for commercial policyholders' costs for claims - essentially the fees for
