George Higginson and Steve Windich have abandoned their attempt to
establish a broker-funded personal lines syndicate and managing agent.


Messrs Higginson and Windich failed to raise enough funding from venture
capitalists and reinsurers to make up the shortfall left by broker
funding.


They have written to the brokers involved telling them their money will be
returned. The company is understood to have raised about £750,000 in cash
from just over 200 brokers, having originally hoped to begin
