The cyber liability policy, initially launched in July 2001, now covers
small to medium-sized businesses' instant messaging against third party
liability claims, as well as their e-mail systems and websites. Instant
messaging is an increasingly popular internet-based system that sends
instant electronic messages between users. Unlike e-mails and the web it
does not usually include a disclaimer of liability
