Brokers were left with two big concerns after Sarah Wilson, head ofhigh-street firms at the Financial Services Authority, gave her speech:
applying for accreditation and the status of firms with representative
status.
Ms Wilson reiterated the fact that brokers will have to be authorised in
order to trade legally when the rules become mandatory - probably October
2004. She said further rules over and above the bare legal minimum might
become mandatory after this cut-off, however.
She also queried
