PB Week: You wait all week and then . . .
You work hard all week, so when you go to the football to follow your team, you expect excitement, passion, skills, commitment and above all a win, writes Andrew Tjaardstra, editor of Professional Broking .
Well at Goodison Park on Saturday Everton fans got . . . a win. Everton Fulham was never going to be a humdinger but when our overpaid footballers who spend all their week training can’t string a couple of passes together you do feel slightly robbed as a fan. However, Louis Saha’s first goal for the club allowed us Evertonians to forgive the preceding dross and cheer on our team. My three neutral friends were not quite so forgiving.
