IGI Group has purchased Galaxy 7 Underwriting Agency in a bid to
invest further in the amateur sports insurance market.


Galaxy 7 specialises in cover for football, cricket, rugby union, and
rugby league. Policies offered include personal accident insurance,
player-to-player liability and liability for referees.


The Galaxy 7 office in Nuneaton has been closed, and the business moved to
the IGI office in Nottingham. Three of the nine staff at the Nuneaton
office will transfer to Nottingham, with the
