The Chartered Insurance Institute and Life Insurance Association havegone into partnership to launch an online compliance and competency system
for the financial planning market. The new site will be branded by the
CII, LIA and the Society of Financial Advisors. The CII recently launched
its own compliance and competency system within its education site.
Sandy Scott, director general of the CII, said: "Maintaining competence is
essential for the sector to demonstrate its professional credentials
