Many brokers would say that Simon Bolam is a tough act to follow. As incoming chairman of the British Insurance Brokers Association, George Nixon tells Tim Collison he is up to the challenge and will bring diplomacy and management to the position.
There are some trade associations where the chairman is little morethan a figurehead. They are wheeled out at formal events, do a spot of
handshaking and become very adept at smiling in publicity photographs.
This is not the case at the British Insurance Brokers Association.

conferences and taking the lead in matters such as Chartered Insurance
