Towergate and Folgate began acting as one company from 31 March, although the legalities of the merger are not likely to be completed until September, or the end of June at the earliest.
Chairman Peter Cullum claims there will be no redundancies following the merger, although Folgate's head office in Sevenoaks will be closed and employees will be relocated to the Towergate headquarters at Maidstone East, Kent.
The Towergate Partnership has a war chest of £150m set aside for acquisitions and plans
