Russell Collier has been appointed manager at Weather Direct, the newweather risk division of broker JK Buckenham. Mr Collier is an expert in
the events market having previously worked for Expo-Sure and Bowrings. He
said: "This product will succeed because of its simplicity. Traditional
methods of assessing rainfall risk on an event have been complex, both for
brokers and organisers."
