Outsourcing and service provider The Eastgate Group is believed to bein the final stages of being bought by the Capita Group.
Capita currently has a 26% share in Eastgate, having made its original
investment in March 1999 with a share of 20.5%. It is thought that Capita
will acquire Eastgate's UK interests. Ken Randall, group chief executive
of Eastgate, will leave the company, taking its US interests.
Eastgate's other major shareholder is US venture capitalist Dukes Place,
which holds a 30% of
