The e-market portal will make its first launch in February 2003,according to Colin Calder, head of broker development at Axa.
Pilots of the portal should be in place by the end of 2002 and it will
launch single sign-on for insurers by February. Phase two will start in
the first quarter of 2003, taking the initiative on from single sign-on to
quotation delivery, secure e-mail and claims information. Brokers should
be able to use the site from the first quarter of 2003.
