Online broking product 24-7 announced three major partnerships at its
launch at the British Insurance Brokers' Association conference, April
26-28.


The system, originally set for launch in January 2001, announced tie-ins
with Alliance & Leicester, British Telecom and computer manufacturer
Compaq.


Alliance & Leicester will offer brokers on the 24-7 system an affinity
group deal, giving them cheap access to business banking. Brokers who
signed up for the system at the conference were offered three
