Budget Retail has added 8500 policyholders to its books, as part of plans to double its customer base to 1.6 million by 2006 following four recent acquisitions.
Leicester-based Citadel Insurance and Brownhill Insurance in Blackburn have added to Budget's branch network and should both be re-branded in the next few months. All staff are expected to be retained.
These additions to Budget's branch network are expected to provide opportunity for further local acquisitions in future, according to
