Bedfordshire-based broker Network Insurance Services has gone intoreceivership following an intervention order imposed by the General
Insurance Standards Council.
NIS refused to comment on the receivership but is believed to have been
forced out of business by a lack of funds. The company is thought to be in
arrears with a number of insurers, including Allianz Cornhill. NIS
specialised in engineering, liability, marine and professional indemnity
insurance.
