The Financial Services Authority will consult on the issue of commingling of insurer and client funds.

Sarah Wilson, director of the high-street firms division at the FSA, told BIBA delegates: "We will consult again in July to make final decisions on whether to change the rules early in 2005. This gives us 12 months before any change is required.
