Groupama Insurances has acquired insurer Trades healthcare business for an undisclosed sum. The deal, which involves gross premiums of £13m, will affect 18 Iron Trades staff.The business was put up for sale following Iron Trades acquisition by Australian insurer QBE.
Groupama said it would offer employment to the 18 staff who in the transition period will continue to operate from their existing operation at Bromley, Kent.
