Lloyd's guaranteeing broker Edgar Hamilton is to go to arbitration to
settle its feud with Highway Motor Policies, following the Lloyd's
syndicate's decision to axe it from its panel. Following a High Court
meeting on 20 December, the injunction against Highway, which had been
obtained by Edgar Hamilton after its facilities were prematurely
cancelled, was lifted.


It was also decided that Highway would also continue to use the services
of Edgar Hamilton until 29 February. A date for the arbitration
