Specialist church insurer Congregational and General wants to double
its gross written premiums by 2003, according to marketing manager, Roger
Williams. Mr Williams said the company envisages most of its expansion
will come through increasing its personal lines business.


He stated: "At the moment personal lines is 24% of our business and we
want to increase that as a proportion of the whole business. We want to
grow and cannot just do that within the niche of church business."
