CGU has gone live with a home-moving portal, Asserta, which is designed to reduce the hassles of homebuying. The insurer will start selling insurance from the portal later in the year.Home movers logging on to www.assertahome.com will be able to access what CGU is billing as the largest online homes database, detailing about 180 000 properties from over 3000 estate agency branches in the UK.
Users will be able to receive immediate updates of newly available homes via e-mail or mobile phone
Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
