BIBA tackles professionalism.

This month's BIBA conference will take as its starting point the issue of professional status. This is close to the heart of many brokers in the current move towards the new Chartered Insurance Broker title, says Tim Collison.

This year's annual BIBA conference will once again see the
association push the message of professionalism. Under the banner of
Building the New Profession, the conference will tackle the issue of
professional status from several different perspectives.

BIBA chairman Simon Bolam will open the event, which will be held at the
Edinburgh International Conference Centre from 13 to 15 April. He will
update brokers and intermediaries on the progress made in creating a new
Chartered Insurance Broker title
