Commercial broker FMW Risk Services has recorded a gross written premium of £27m and a brokerage income of £4.62m in 2005, a rise of 10% on 2004. Profit before tax rose slightly to £727 356, despite exceptional costs arising as from its recent relocation to purpose-built offices in Essex, according to FMW. Peter Blanc, the firm's MD, said: "To have achieved in excess of 10% growth through purely organic means is a testament to the quality of our staff."
