CSC plans to halve the number of broking systems it offers, though itdenied the Quotel system faces imminent withdrawal.
Tony Barker, CSC's director of marketing, said: "The market is losing 500
brokers or more every year and we can support Quotel as long as it remains
commercially viable to do so." He said as numbers reduce there will come a
time when it is unfeasible to run. "Brokers know we have stopped
developing Quotel but we will give brokers 12 months' notice when we stop
it altogether."
