Wellington Underwriting has completed the sale of its motorunderwriting division to Crowe Insurance for £250,000 in cash. All
Wellington's private motor policies and documentation will be re-branded
to Crowe Insurance from 1 November, although the insurer is still liaising
with software houses to amend the EDI laser printed documents.
Crowe will acquire renewal rights to Wellington motor business, although a
decision has not yet been made about Wellington's agency base.
