Brokers have reacted with concern at the news that a trade body has
been given the outsourced contract for the administrative responsibilities
of the IBRC.


Last month, the Insurance Brokers Registration Council awarded the
third-party contract to the Institute of Insurance Brokers. Professional
Broking understands that the task of choosing between the IIB's and
NewRo's proposals was given to the IBRC's accountant and that the council
agreed to honour his decision.
