DAS has begun work to double the size of its motor claims centre at
Bedwas in South Wales, to provide space for 100 new staff. When work is
completed in summer 1999, all 100 existing staff will move into the new
8500 square foot building while the existing complex of buildings will be
refurbished and equipped with new technology. There are plans to recruit a
further 50 staff from the region, to handle the increases in the volume of
motor claims handled by DAS.
