A wave of new start-up internet intermediaries is about to hit thepersonal lines market. Professional Broking has learnt of at least seven
ventures that are due to go live in the next two months and others are
expected.
Backed by a mixture of venture capital and private funding, most of these
"cybermediaries" have spent the last 12 to 18 months developing their
technology and formulating their marketing strategies.
