The direct division of Royal & SunAlliance is to axe almost 300 jobsthis year, with the closure of its customer service centres in Brighton
and Horsham.
The Brighton centre, which employs 90 people, will close on 9 April,
followed by the Horsham centre, employing 200, on the 9 July.
The move is being made in an effort to simplify the current system, under
which the insurer operates across eight sites.
