The chief executive of Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance (RBSI) is to step aside at the end of July and take on a new role within the bank. He will be succeeded by Paul Geddes, currently CEO of UK Retail, who will join the executive committee. Mr Sullivan, who has managed the business since November 2006, will become CEO of the UK corporate banking division. He had previously told Insurance Age's sister magazine Post that had the RBSI business been sold he would have been keen to continue to run
