I see the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has set up a 'task force' on 'professionalism' to develop a common framework with a view to raising standards across general insurance (www.insuranceage.com, 12 May).
Does anyone know what these meaningless phrases mean or how they can be achieved? It will presumably include buying something from the CII.
In my humble opinion, general insurance is already professional, thank you very much.
It is not this sector of the market that has mis-sold payment
