A clash of opinions on the future of the market
Experts differ over whether the hardening of the motor sector signals a sea change for the industry
Key experts have disagreed over whether a hardening of the market is imminent.
The difference of opinion was voiced today at Towergate's first broker conference entitled "Look into the Future".
Andrew Sibbald of Lexicon Partners said that rates must rise and used the perceived hardening in the motor sector as an example of how the market was changing although he admitted that this is by no means universal or consistent.
