One in 10 fail to take out travel insurance
Women are the worst offenders according to research by Opinion Matters
One in 10 consumers are failing to take out travel insurance, according to a survey by Opinion Matters.
The research reveals that 66% of women and 26% of people aged 35-44 years old forget to take out travel insurance.
Yet, almost 40% of respondents admitted to having suffered from food poisoning, an accident, burns or bacterial infection while away – ailments covered by most travel insurance policies.
