Belfast staff feel brunt of Zurich's latest redundancies
The redundancies were a result of the insurer's decision to relocate its small to medium-sized enterprise package business
Zurich has axed 22 jobs at its Belfast office as part of its latest wave of cuts.
The redundancies, which took place at the end of October, were the direct result of the insurer's decision to relocate its small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) package business to Cardiff.
It follows Zurich's exit from the new-home warranty and building control markets, which affected over 40 jobs, as reported by broking.co.uk last month, and is in addition to the insurer's announcement last year that 870 roles
