Brokers attack FSA over latest 'misleading' complaint statistics
Biba claims results misrepresent broker performance
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has once again been criticised for failing to differentiate between brokers and other insurance providers following the publication of its latest aggregate complaint statistics.
The report, which collates data in six-monthly periods from 2006 up to the first half of 2009, shows that complaints about general insurance intermediaries rose to 144,751 in the first half of 2009, compared with 115,242 in H2 2008.
