Aon Benfield names co-CEOs

Hand shake

Michael Bungert, Aon Benfield chief executive of the Americas, and CEO of International, Dominic Christian, have been named as co-CEOs of Aon Benfield.

Mr Bungert, who is based in Chicago, joined Aon Re as an executive vice president in 1989. He previously was with Thomas A Greene, where he was the head of the Chicago office and a member of the board of directors.

Before joining Aon, Mr Christian, who is based in London, was a group board director of Benfield Group, CEO of the international division, and CEO of Benfield.

Michael O'Halleran will continue to serve as executive chairman of Aon Benfield. Grahame Chilton will assume a new role as
