Omega announces board appointments
The board of Omega Underwriting Agents (OUA) has approved the election of Roger Field, Robin Oakes and Richard Pexton as non-executive directors, subject to regulatory approval. Additionally, Mr Oakes will become chairman of the audit committee.
Mr Field has spent over 40 years in the insurance sector. Before retiring in late 2008, he was group underwriting director and a board member at Brit Insurance Holdings, where he continues to act as a consultant. Prior to Brit Insurance, he was director of underwriting and a board member at Ace London and Sturge. He began his career at CE Heath.
