Risk management/claims: Lord Young slams 'unnecessary' low-hazard risk assessments
Lord Young has called for a stop to low-hazard health and safety risk assessments as part of his review into UK compensation culture.
In Common Sense Common Safety, Lord Young has slammed some insurers for insisting on costly and unnecessary risk assessments before considering offering accident insurance cover to small to medium-sized enterprises, adding that if investigation was necessary only qualified consultants should be used.
