Allianz sharpens regional focus with Newcastle plans
Allianz Commercial has announced its intention to expand its regional branch network with the opening of a new office in Newcastle.
The insurer is currently looking for premises in the city centre and aims to have a team in place within the next six months.
In preparation, Les Archibald has been appointed to manage the operation. Mr Archibald, who has more than 20 years' commercial experience, joined Allianz from Primary General & Rural Insurance where he has been underwriting director for more than two years.
