Plea for MoJ to get tough on lawyers' PI abuse
Allianz has called for the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to crack down on claimant lawyers it claims have abused the new personal injury claims system.
The MoJ reforms, implemented in April this year, introduced fixed stages and costs for personal injury claims valued between £1,000 and £10,000.
Bob Rabbitts, technical claims manager at Allianz Insurance, said it was a case of "so far, so good" and that the new process was improving the speed and efficiency of low value personal injury claims handling.†
