Exeter Friendly to cut PMI premiums

Exeter Family Friendly has cut premiums on its "Health Cover for Me" private medical insurance (PMI) plan by up to 12.5%.

The Exeter based mutual insurer has again signalled its intentions to be a serious player in the PMI market, following the introduction of innovative switch and moratorium underwriting options earlier this year.

Commenting on the premium decrease, head of intermediary sales, Mike O'Brien said: "We know that intermediaries like "Health Cover for Me" because it is simple, straightforward and won't leave their customers in trouble when they need it most. But what they have also been telling us is
