Willis revenue rises as commissions increase 3%
Willis has announced a 2% rise in revenues to $3.34bn (£2.08bn) for the year ended 31 December 2010 (2009: $3.26bn).
Total commissions and fees were $3.3bn, up 3% compared with 2009, while the international division, which includes the UK, saw a 5% rise from $1.02bn to $1.07bn.
Net income for the group from continuing operations for the year was $455m compared with $436m the previous year.
The broker also revealed its fourth quarter performance which saw total revenues rise 1% to $835m compared to the same period the year before. Commissions and fees rose 2% to $825m in the last three months of 2010 compared
