Groupama targets niche trade with Exclusively

As part of the launch of its Exclusively range, Groupama is to broaden its distribution base by giving the open market access to certain scheme areas.

The insurer said the new product range had been designed to capitalise on its underwriting expertise in specific business sectors. The first product, Exclusively Recruitment, was launched in April and there are three more products in the pipeline due to be released in June, August and October.

Head of commercial underwriting, Dawn Dillaway, said the new range was targeting niche trade areas where Groupama felt it had honed its understanding but was not necessarily getting the maximum support
