Biba’s 7000 strong FSCS petition delivered to MPs
The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) has presented its Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) petition of nearly 7000 member signatures to Jonathan Evans MP at the House of Commons.
The petition called for the House of Commons to urge HM Treasury to accelerate the Financial Services Authority's (FSA) review of the FSCS consultation with immediate effect. Insurance Age has revealed the FSA previously spent over £700,000 on the review only to shelve it.
Jonathan Evans MP, chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Insurance and Financial Services will formally present the petition to the chamber of the House of Commons on the evening of 13 June. Mr Evans has also agreed to
