Bodily injury claims starting to impact, admits Admiral’s Engelhardt

Chief executive officer at Admiral, Henry Engelhardt, has revealed that bodily injury claims have started to noticeably affect the insurer in the past year.

Mr Engelhardt was speaking as the insurer released record turnover and profits for the first half year but with a deterioration in combined operating ratio (COR) for UK car insurance business to 90.4% from 82.9% in the same period of 2010.
