Aon swoops for Willis COO
Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon Corporation, has appointed Chris Lee-Smith as chief operating officer of its UK retail business.
Mr Lee-Smith, who has 25 years of insurance industry experience, joined from rivals Willis where he held the position of chief operating officer, Willis UK & Ireland.
Prior to that appointment he held a number of roles, including change and strategy director for Willis and has also been head of change management and management information for Guy Carpenter UK.
